Tennessee forward Admiral Schofield will play one more year for Rick Barnes and the Volunteers basketball team.
In March, Schofield declared for the NBA Draft without hiring in agent, which meant he could go through the evaluation process and workout with teams without effecting his eligibility as long as he withdrew his name within 10 days after the NBA Combine.
After working out with several NBA teams including the Denver Nuggets, Memphis Grizzlies and Charlotte Hornets, Schofield took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce his return.
"I am very grateful for my recent opportunities to compete and display my talents in front of NBA personnel," said Schofield. "I have learned so much from this NBA Draft evaluation process and am looking forward to improving the areas of my game that need it while also improving as a man. With that said, I'm happy to announce i'm returning to Tennessee for my senior season, and I am focused and hungry to once again chase championships with my teammates."
Schofield averaged 19 points in his last eight games as a junior.
