KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — 5-star commit David Sanders Jr. was in attendance for No. 7 Tennessee's matchup against Kent State on Saturday night.
"It's amazing. I can only imagine if the team was the No. 1 team in the country, which will happen while I'm here, so I'm excited to see it rocking," said Sanders.
The offensive lineman is a Charlotte native and will be joining the team early in December.
Sanders said he is very excited to step on campus in a couple of months.
"People at my school are big Tennessee fans, alumni of Tennessee. They already have jerseys made with my last name on it. So it is a blessing to be committed to such a great program," Sanders said.
Sanders also attended Tennessee's game against NC State in the Duke's Mayo Classic.
"It was amazing. From the time I stepped foot out of my car, went to the stadium and came back, I don't know how many pictures I took and people I interacted with," said Sanders.
The future Vol also took pictures with fans at Neyland Stadium ahead of game time.
