SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. — A suspect reportedly lost control of their truck on Park Road in Sevierville early Sunday morning and took off after hitting a jet ski and a Sevierville Police explorer, according to police.

At around 2:15 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, Sevierville Police said it believes a red 1999-2006 Chevy/GM pickup truck lost control and entered the Ridgecrest Apartments parking lot. The truck then reportedly hit a jet ski, knocked it into an apartment, and hit the police cruiser -- pushing it into another truck.

The suspect in the pickup truck left the scene, police said. It is likely damaged on the full length of the passenger side.

According to Sevierville Police, the truck is missing the right headlight assembly and has a broken window which is suspected to be the front passenger window.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

Anyone with information as to the location of the suspect truck or the truck driver is asked to contact THP Trooper James Fox at james.a.fox@tn.gov or 865-594-5800 ext. 1154.
