Mid-South law enforcement officers honored fallen Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agent De'Greaun Frazier with a Sea of Blue on Tuesday. As police cars drove by, there were very few dry eyes.

Frazier was killed in the line of duty Aug. 9. He was shot while undercover in Jackson, Tenn. He's the only TBI agent to ever be killed in the line of duty.

"I'm trying not to tear up because it's pretty sad," said Cameron Carpenter. "It really touches me."

Those close to Frazier, and even those who didn't know him, lined Interstate 40 as the Sea of Blue passed by.

"They do all this for us, and people take advantage of it," Sarah Wilmington said.

Friends and family hosted a visitation for Frazier at Bellevue Baptist Church on Tuesday night.

Frazier joined the agency in February. Before that, he worked for six years as a Millington police officer. He also worked for the University of Memphis Police Department and Shelby County Sheriff's Office. Friends and family said it was his dream to work for TBI.

Veteran Scott Gilmore brought his entire family out to honor the fallen agent.

"They are very much behind law enforcement and military," he said.

It's something he said is the least he can do for a man who gave so much.

"We've lost one of the links in the chain that protects us," Gilmore said.

Frazier leaves behind a wife and two children. Last week, WMC Action News 5, Memphis Police Department, Millington Police Department, U of M police, and SCSO came together to raise money for Frazier's family. Mid-Southerners donated more than $14,000 to help them.

Frazier's funeral will be held Wednesday at Bellevue Baptist Church starting at 11 a.m. ET.

Frazier leaves behind a wife and two children. A GoFundMe account has been established to help the family by the TBI. If you would help donate to the family, click here.
