'Dog the Bounty Hunter' star joins search for missing Sumner County teen Sebastian Rogers

"Let's do our part to bring Sebastian home and lock those responsible up for the rest of time."

SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. — Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman is joining in the search for missing Sumner County teen Sebastian Rogers.

Rogers was first reported missing on Feb. 26. He was last seen near his home in Hendersonville. According to officials, his mother discovered he was missing when she went to wake him up for school.

In the social media post, he asks Dog Nation to do their part in bringing Rogers home and locking those responsible up.

Since his disappearance, countless search efforts have been launched by multiple agencies in Sumner County. 

On Aug. 26, the Federal Bureau of Investigation Memphis Field Office, Nashville Resident Agency offered a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the location and return of Rogers or the arrest and conviction of those responsible for his disappearance.

Rogers' mother and stepfather have since spoken the $50,000 reward was announced. They told WSMV4 Nashville they were thankful for the FBI’s efforts in putting up the reward and hoped the money would encourage someone with key information to come forward.

“We pray that with this reward, it will bring some useful tips and/or leads that result in the safe return of Sebastian to his home in Hendersonville,” they said.
