Community and business leaders gathered together in Knoxville Friday to honor some of the area's most influential people.
The Knoxville Chamber's Pinnacle Awards celebrates outstanding businesses and business people. Several hundred gathered at the Knoxville Convention Center for the event.
Randy Boyd of Radio Systems Corporation took home this year's James A. Haslam Chairman's Leadership Award, given to a business leader who shows character resolve and commitment to our community.
"It's named after James Haslam who's been an inspiration to me not just because of what he does in business but how he gives back to the community. And so to be able to receive an award named after him is just a really special honor," said Boyd.
This year marked the 10th anniversary of the Pinnacle Business Awards.
