WASHINGTON — Spotify Wrapped 2024 has arrived, delivering a personalized recap of what you listened to this past year.
The streaming service also announced Wednesday that Taylor Swift was its most-played artist for a second year in a row. The pop star raked in more than 26.6 billion streams since Jan. 1, according to Spotify.
She's followed by The Weekend, Bad Bunny, Drake and Billie Eilish, in that order. In the U.S., the list looks similar: It's Swift in the top spot, followed by Drake, Zach Bryan, Morgan Wallen and Kanye West.
Last year, Swift ended Puerto Rican reggaetón star Bad Bunny's three-year reign in the top spot.
How to see Spotify Wrapped 2024
To access your personalized streaming round-up, open the Spotify app on a mobile device. You can get a link to it on any browser by visiting Spotify.com/Wrapped.
If you're on your phone, you should see a button at the top of the Spotify home screen that says "Wrapped," which will take you to the Wrapped feed. Then, click on "Your 2024 Wrapped" on the next screen.
This will then take you through an Instagram Story-style slideshow of your top artists, songs, genres, podcasts and other lists. You'll also get to see stats like how many minutes you spent listening to music and how your streaming habits compare to others around the world.
Throughout the slideshow there's options to share your results on social media.
New Spotify Wrapped features for 2024
New this year, Spotify Wrapped features a new data story called “Your Music Evolution,” documenting three distinct musical phases for each user, and a personalized playlist. The individualized "Your Top Artist" feature has changed slightly, too, and now includes “Longest Listening Streak" as well as the familiar “Top Listeners.”
For the first time ever, Spotify also unveiled an AI podcast about your 2024 Wrapped stats.
"With this personalized Audio Overview, delivered by two dynamic hosts using generative AI, fans can dive deeper into their top songs, artists, and genres of the year," the company shared. It's available in English for eligible free and premium users for a limited time in a few countries including the United States.
If you're having trouble finding your Spotify Wrapped, make sure you have the most recent version of the app downloaded.
