The Billboard Music Awards ABC, 8 ET/5 PT

The Billboard Music Awards
ABC, 8 ET/5 PT

Yes, I know what you’re thinking: Not another music awards show. But this one, airing live from Las Vegas and hosted by Ludacris and Ciara, does offer a few special draws. For one, Voice and gossip fans will be treated to a duet by the now publicly linked Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani on their new single, Go Ahead and Break My Heart. For another, Madonna will pay tribute to Prince, which at least should prove to be discussion-worthy. And were that not enough, you’re also scheduled to get performances by Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, The Go-Go’s, Demi Lovato, Pink, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Meghan Trainor and Celine Dion, who will pick up the Icon Award.

The Simpsons
Fox, 8 ET/PT

TV’s most successful cartoon raps up its season in Orange Is the New Black-style by sending Marge to prison for an unsupervised-kid-in-a-park infraction. But don’t feel sorry for Marge: She discovers that prison life is a cakewalk compared to living with Homer.

Fear the Walking Dead
AMC, 9 ET/PT

TV viewers know May is a month of season and series finales, but this seasonal exit may still catch some folks off-guard, seeing as it feels like Fear just got underway. But never fear, fans of comic-book frights and gore: You’ll find ample supply in Preacher (10 ET/PT).
