(WBIR) The manager of a Pigeon Forge motel has been charged along with two other people after a meth bust Tuesday on the property.

Daniel Scott Laforce manages Motel 6 at 336 Henderson Chapel Road, according to Fourth Judicial District Attorney General James "Jimmy" Dunn.

He is charged with promotion of methamphetamine.

Also charged are Blaze T. Eadie and Ezekiel W. Sancreek. They're accused of possession of meth and manufacture of meth, according to a release from Dunn.

Two Pigeon Forge officers were taken to an area hospital to be checked for exposure to the meth-making process, according to Pigeon Forge Chief Jack Baldwin.

On Tuesday, the Fourth Judicial Drug Task Force, composed of area law enforcement officers, served a search warrant at the motel. They found an active meth lab on the premises.

"All guests of the Motel 6 were immediately evacuated from the hotel and the meth lab was removed," according to Dunn's release.

Also taking part in the bust were the TBI and Pigeon Forge Police Department.

Eight rooms had to be quarantined. Guests that had been evacuated were able to return to their rooms.

Pigeon Forge Officer John Ailor wrote about the incident on Facebook.

"I just want to say thanks to the Pigeon Forge Motel 6 that allowed us to be exposed to an active meth lab tonight," Ailor's message reads. "A special thanks to the manager who was living in the room with the men who were cooking the meth. Thanks for endangering not only our lives, but also the innocent people who were staying there as well."

The defendants are to be arraigned Friday. They're being held in the Sevier County Jail in lieu of bonds of more than $100,000.
