BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — A Texas inmate who claims he murdered 90 people has been indicted in connection to a 1981 Kentucky cold case.
According to Kentucky State Police, Samuel Little has been indicted by a Warren County Grand Jury for the murder of Linda Sue Boards.
The body of Boards was found on May 15, 1981 on a farm located on Hydro-Pondsville Road, 1.4 miles southeast of Smiths Grove, Ky.
She had been raped and strangled.
Little, 78, admitted to killing about 90 people in an effort to be transferred between prisons.
Little was convicted in 2014 of killing three women in separate attacks in Los Angeles County in the 1980s, and prosecutors said during his trial that he was likely responsible for at least 40 killings since 1980.
Authorities at the time were looking for possible links to deaths in Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio and Texas.
