KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Yee Haw Brewing will host the "Good Vibrations" concert on Thursday to help the Cancer Support Community of East Tennessee, featuring musician Cruz Contreras.
This is the second benefit concert Contreras has hosted for the cancer support group. The group provides completely free services for people with cancer and their loved ones.
"We believe in the healing power of the art of music and we do a lot of programs that are really to experience joy in a trying time," said Beth Hamil, executive director of the Cancer Support Community of East Tennessee. "Unfortunately cancer is something that affects most people directly and indirectly. We lost my dad in 2018 from lymphoma, it was challenging. Anything I can do to educate myself and help this group means a lot. I'm honored to be a part of it."
The doors for the concert will open at 6 p.m. and the music will start at 7. Tickets are being sold for $50 and are available on the Cancer Support Community's website.
