Santa Claus to visit Knox County Public Library locations in December

The Jolly Old Elf will visit locations from Dec. 4 to Dec. 20.

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn — Santa Claus is coming to town, and stopping at several Knox County Public Library branches before he heads down everyone's chimney on Christmas Eve.

The Knox County Public Library will host Merry Merry @ the Library: Santa Claus Visit events at various libraries from December 4 to December 20. 

Families are invited to attend the events and bring their cameras to grab some photos with the Jolly Old Elf.

Santa will be visiting library branches in Halls, Cedar Bluff, Corryton,  Norwood, Burlington, Howard Pinkston, Farragut, Bearden, Lawson McGhee, Powell, Sequoyah, South Knoxville, and Fountain City.

The library is also hosting Polar Express parties on December 15 at 5:30 p.m. at the Burlington branch and December 20 at 2:30 p.m. at the Bearden branch. 

A Holly Jolly Day event is planned for December 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Farragut branch. 

The library will also host Holiday Craft events in December as well, including events to make holiday ornaments, a snow globe and gift wrapping.  More information on those events can be found here
