The Episcopal School of Knoxville is expanding, both in size and students.
School officials broke ground Friday morning on a new 5,000 square foot addition that will be home to the school's fifth grade class, with all the students watching. The addition
should be completed by August.
The new building will also feature interactive technology and a great room that will serve as a meeting space for special events.
In the fall, the school will welcome some new students as well. They will introduce a junior kindergarten class and a program for four-year-olds.
