KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — "It's a girl! And a boy, and a girl, and two more boys, and two more girls!"
That's what an East Tennessee Golden Retriever rescue wrote about its six new adorable puppies.
Adopt a Golden Knoxville posted a heartwarming video of the new mama and her pups to Facebook on Friday. Within 24 hours, the fluffy family was a bit of a local social media sensation -- the video had almost 5,000 views.
The nonprofit gave each puppy a name from "The Little Mermaid."
"Welcome to the world Ariel, Flounder, Sebastian, Ursula, Erica, Atlantica, and Triton!" the volunteer organization wrote on Facebook.
According to the nonprofit's website, the adoption fee for purebred Golden Retriever puppies is $600. The popular breed can be more expensive from dog breeders -- according to Forbes, a show-quality Golden puppy can cost over $3,000.
