JEFFERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — A fun idea is getting some controversial attention in Jefferson County.

AllDogs Canine Care Center noticed some flooding in a field behind their building so they put two fake inflatable dogs in a raft and let them float on the floodwaters.

It's capturing the attention of lots of drivers. Some think it's a funny idea while others are less pleased.

Several people have stopped and tried to rescue the dogs until they realize they're fake.

The owner said she got a call about someone who was concerned about the dogs being in the water and said they were going to call the police to make sure the dogs were being safe.

"'Before my friend calls the police, can you reassure us that those dogs aren't real?' I don't think they find our sense of humor as fun as we do," AllDogs owner Holly Cody said. "They're very serious about the dogs out on the raft."

She said they use the field for pet training and playing and when the water comes up there during heavy rains, she lets the dogs jump in and play.
