KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The University of Tennessee said Tuesday that football fans will have a chance to enjoy the second annual Vol Village Music Festival on April 13, set to be held before and after during the Orange and White Game.
The game is set to start at 1 p.m. on April 13. Before the game and after, fans will have a chance to enjoy festivities and performances. Vol Village will open at 10:30 a.m. in Lot 9, and admission is free. Screens will also be stations in Lot 9 and at the amphitheater outside Gate 21 so fans who couldn't get a ticket to the Orange and White Game can still watch the Vols play.
At Vol Village, fans will be able to get meals from food trucks and drinks from beverage stations. There will also be an appearance from the Spirit Squad, Smokey and Sterl The Pearl. There will also be interactive displays, face painting and sponsor giveaway, according to a release from UT.
A pregame concert will start at 11:15 a.m. with a country music performer, and another postgame concert is set to start at 3:15 p.m. at the same stage with another country music performer.
While tickets are sold out for the Orange and White Game, fans can still enjoy the game at the Vol Village Music Festival.
