Turkey Creek Wine and Spirits to close as Total Wine moves to Knoxville

The Turkey Creek wine seller, open since 2003, will close two years after wine sales became legal in grocery stores Tennessee and just months after national wine retailer Total Wine announced a new Knoxville location.

West Knoxville's Turkey Creek Wine and Spirits will soon close its doors after 15 years in business.

The decision comes two years after wine sales were made legal in grocery stores in Tennessee and just months following the announcement that Total Wine, a beer and wine superstore chain with 181 storefronts nationwide, would open a location in Knoxville.

All of Turkey Creek Wine and Spirit's wines are currently 25 percent off.
