Toys dropped off at memorials for Evelyn Boswell will be donated to the community

Organizers said the act of generosity is all in honor of Evelyn.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Tenn. — The hundreds of toys dropped off for baby Evelyn Boswell will be donated, according to a memorial co-organizer Lynda Hooker.

The memorials for the 15-month-old toddler still stand along Muddy Creek Road and the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office in Blountville.

However, the organizers do plan on eventually taking the stuffed animals to a children's hospital, Social Services, the sheriff's office and area fire departments.

Organizers said the act of generosity is all in honor and on behalf of Evelyn, whose remains were believed to have been found Friday night.
