TOWNSEND, Tenn. — The City of Townsend announced Mayor Ron Palewski died on Sunday.
"His love for Townsend, and its citizens, will be greatly missed," the city wrote in a Facebook post.
The community is asked to keep Palewski's family in their thoughts and prayers.
The city said it will post updates as more information becomes available.
