(WBIR) President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, and Dr. Jill Biden will travel to East Tennessee Friday to promote higher education and manufacturing jobs.

5:32 p.m. Air Force One wheels up from McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base to wrap up Obama's first trip to Knoxville as president.
5:22 p.m. - Air Force One begins taxiing to take off
5:18 p.m. - Obama walks up the stairs to Air Force One, then waves as he walks inside the plane
5:16 p.m. - President Obama's motorcade enters the airbase.
4:22 p.m. - After speaking at Techmer PM, the motorcade is on the move again heading back to McGhee Tyson Air National Guard base.
3:24 p.m. - The president arrives at Techmer PM in Clinton where he's expected to unveil a second intiative, a manufacturing hub concept.
2:35 p.m. - Obama finishes speaking after about 30 minutes and mingles with several people before leaving for the motorcade again.
2:04 p.m. - President Obama enters after being introduced by Joe Biden. He first speaks about Friday morning's situation in France. He then moves on to discuss his plan to bring community college costs "down to zero." He announces the plan will be called America's College Promise, based off of the concept of the Tennessee Promise.
1:47 p.m. - Vice President Joe Biden and his wife Dr. Biden walk onto the stage and deliver their remarks.
12:58 p.m. - Governor Bill Haslam takes the stage at Pellissippi State Community College. He thanks Obama for giving him a reason to come home early this weekend.
12:46 p.m. -Obama arrives at Pellissippi State. Knoxville PD tweets that all roads will be reopened within the next few minutes. It advises to expect delays near there.
12:15 p.m. - Obama enters motorcade which then leaves en route to Pellissippi State Community College where the president will be speaking.
12:11 p.m. - President Obama exits Air Force One and walks down the stairs with Sen. Lamar Alexander, Sen. Bob Corker, and Congressman Jimmy Duncan.
12:10 p.m - Vice President Joe Biden makes his way toward Air Force One
Noon -Air Force One lands in Knoxville
11:41 a.m. - Air Force Two lands at McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base, with Vice President Joe Biden on board.
10:54 a.m. - Air Force One takes off from Andrews Air Force Base, en route to Knoxville
10:48 a.m. - President Obama boards Air Force at Andrews Air Force Base
