The Tennessee Highway Patrol identified an Alabama woman killed Tuesday in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 75.

Jennifer M. Torbert, 41, of Pell City, Ala., died in the crash on I-75 near mile marker 80. THP said three other people were injured in the crash.

A THP report said Torbert and the other rear passenger were not wearing seat belts, and were ejected from 2008 Nissan Sentra around 11:35 a.m. Tuesday.

THP said the Sentra left the roadway and rolled over in the median. The vehicle came to rest near the southbound lanes of I-75.

Charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing.
