COCKE COUNTY, Tenn. — A Georgia man is dead after a crash along Highway 25/70 near Clevenger Cutoff in Cocke County, the Tennessee Highway Patrol said.
According to the THP, 33-year-old Mack Hearron III was driving in a 2013 Ford F-150 along that highway when he crossed the median. He then hit 55-year-old Edward Thomas Huck, who was on a 2017 Kawasaki KL650 Motorcycle.
Hearron fled the scene and Huck came to a final rest off the right side of that highway, THP said.
Hearron, who fled the scene, was later found at 10:55 a.m. according to THP.
He is currently facing vehicular homicide charges.
