FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Omari "Big O" Thomas posted to social media apologizing for his actions after a video spread across social media of him shoving an Arkansas fan who was storming the field after a victory against Tennessee on Saturday.
A post from Kristi Abbott was shared on X, tagging Vol Football in a video that showed #21, Thomas, shoving a fan. In the video, the fan Thomas shoves falls into another woman, knocking both of them to the ground.
Thomas released a statement condemning his behavior and apologizing. His full statement can be read below:
"I apologize for my actions during the chaotic postgame scene. Even though we got run into multiple times by fans while trying to exit the field, that doesn't condone my actions or define my character. I sincerely apologize. I wish Arkansas and their fans all the best. Big O"
