TBI: Silver Alert canceled for missing Knox County senior

Betty Serrano was found on Saturday and is safe, according to KCSO.

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. — UPDATE: The Knox County Sheriff's Department said Betty Serrano has been located and is safe.

"It has not been confirmed if she will be taken to an area hospital to be checked out at this time," the department said.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation are searching for a missing senior out of Knox County. 

76-year-old Betty Serrano was last seen Friday, June 21st, near Pryse Family Boulevard in Farragut. The TBI has issued a silver alert and says she was wearing a blue t-shirt and black Birkenstock shoes. 

She does have a medical condition that could prevent her from returning home safely.
