KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — UPDATE MONDAY: Deborah Skaggs, reported missing over the weekend by Knoxville police, has been found safe in North Carolina.
"She is being transported to an area hospital for a precautionary evaluation but is otherwise in good health," according to the Knoxville Police Department.
PREVIOUS STORY: The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert for a woman who was last seen Saturday night.
69-year-old Deborah "Debbie" Sue Skaggs was last seen at the Comfort Suites at 5466 Central Avenue Pike at 11 p.m., according to TBI. She was last seen wearing a pink plaid jacket, pink pants and grey Sketcher shoes.
Skaggs may be driving a silver 2012 Ford Flex with Kentucky tag F4X284. TBI said she has medical conditions that may impair her ability to return safely without assistance. She is 5 feet, 210 lbs, with blue eyes and gray hair.
