CAMPBELL COUNTY, Tenn. — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is looking into the death of an inmate at the Campbell County Jail.
TBI said that on Tuesday, Justin Watts was found unresponsive in his cell.
According to a press release, jail staff tried to resuscitate him until paramedics arrived.
Watts was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, TBI said.
TBI said that his body has been sent for an autopsy.
The investigation is still ongoing.
