KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A house living room sustained smoke and water damage after a fire broke out Saturday night, according to Rural Metro Fire.
At around 7:16 p.m., Rural Metro Fire responded to the 8200 block of Tazewell Pike. After crews arrived, they found fire venting from a chimney into the attic void space, Rural Metro said.
Occupants of the home were safe outside when crews arrived.
No injuries were reported.
Knox County Fire Investigation Unit will investigate the cause of the fire.
