Country singers Taylor Swift and Montgomery Gentry will headline a Neyland Stadium concert the day before Tennessee's Orange and White spring game.The April 18 performance will be the first in the 104,000-seat stadium since hometown artist Kenny Chesney played there in 2003, preceded only by a performance that included Michael Jackson in 1984.Tennessee athletic director Mike Hamilton compares the football spring game to "midnight madness" in basketball and says the inaugural pre-game Gridiron Bash will boost the fan experience.There also will be a giant pep rally and appearances by Vols players and coaches.New York-based promoter MSL Sports is staging at least a dozen campus concerts at prominent football programs the same day. Fergie of The Black Eyed Peas will perform at Penn State, ZZ Top has signed on at Texas AM, Counting Crows will perform at Colorado, and the Goo Goo Dolls will be a Kansas State.
