SEVIER COUNTY, Tenn. — UPDATE (7:41 p.m.): The 3-acre brush fire on Shell Mountain is 100% contained, according to the Sevier County Government.
Five structures were threatened by the fire but none were affected. Officials said they would monitor the area throughout the night.
Sevier County is still under a burn ban until further notice.

Crews are responding to a brush fire estimated to be two to three acres on Shell Mountain off of Jones Cove Road, according to the Sevier County Government.
There are three reported structures threatened by the fire, according to officials. Crews are also working to protect other structures in the Autumn Ridge area.
Sevier County said no official evacuations have been required at this time but residents in the area are asked to remain aware of their surroundings.
Residents and visitors are asked to stay away from the area and yield to emergency vehicles.
