(WBIR-Seymour) Officials said no one was hurt in a massive house fire Saturday in Seymour.
Accodring to Kevin Nunn, Assistant Chief with the Seymour Volunteer Fire Department, the family was vacationing on Douglas Lake when the flames sparked.
"We hate the fact that the house is a total loss," said Nunn. "But if you're looking at the good side of things, there were no injuries or loss of life."
Nunn said crews were at the scene for nearly six hours.
The Sevier County Sheriff's Department is investigating the cause of the fire.

(WBIR) East Tennessee fire crews battled a massive blaze at a house Saturday afternoon.
According to the Seymour Volunteer Fire Department, they responded to the fire located by South Knob Creek near Wye Drive around 3:30 p.m.
The Volunteer Fire Chief said they are not sure whether anyone was home at the time of the fire.
