PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. — Alongside luxury resorts and wilderness camps, the Wayback Hotel in Pigeon Forge landed on TIME's "World's Greatest Places 2024" list.
The hotel, located on the Parkway, is a Tribute Portfolio Hotel and opened in 2023.
Touting itself as a "retro paradise in a quirky mountain town," the hotel is the only Tennessee destination and one of only 50 hotels on the list.
"[The Wayback] stood out as a modern, design-forward property bringing a new sense of luxury to the area," TIME said. "Inspired by retro roadside motels and mid-century modern architecture, the Wayback envelops guests in bright colors and funky artwork that’s sleek and stylish."
