One of Pigeon Forge's newest attractions is looking to hire more than 200 employees.
Paula Deen's Family Kitchen is set to open in late April, bringing the celebrity chef's famous southern hospitality to East Tennessee.
"We are excited to have Paula Deen's new restaurant concept join the already great things happening at The Island," Bob McManus, developer of The Island at Pigeon Forge, said. "The economic impact that the restaurant will bring to Sevier County and East Tennessee is tremendous, and we look forward to supporting the restaurant in its efforts to hire local employees."
Managers need to fill more than 200 positions, including line cooks, prep cooks, bakers, dishwashers, bussers, bartenders, servers, hosts and retail sales associates.
If you are interested, you should apply in person at The Island's hiring mobile office in the parking lot just before the bridge. On-site signage will direct applicants to the appropriate location.
Hiring hours are Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. An appointment is not required. Hiring will be take place immediately and on the spot, so selected applicants will need a driver's license and Social Security card.
Prospective employees may also apply by emailing a resume or letter of interest to Roland Gilfour, director of operations for Paula Deen Restaurants and Retail Stores, at rgilfour@dclfood.com.
