SEVIER COUNTY, Tenn. — A Knoxville man was arrested for solicitation after an investigator purposely posed as a teen online, the Sevier County Sheriff's Office announced.
Howard G. Rupprecht, a 34-year-old, was charged with one count of solicitation of a minor after he traveled to Seymour for a sexual encounter with someone he believed was 13 years old, according to SCSO.
SCSO deputies met Rupprecht at the location and he was immediately taken into custody, SCSO said.
Rupprecht was booked into the Sevier County Jail on a $2,500 bond.
