SEVIER COUNTY, Tenn. — A 72-year-old woman is dead after she was hit by a car while getting her mail Friday evening, according to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
The report states that the driver was traveling north on Jones Cove Road when she struck Helen Agnew.
Charges are pending for the driver.
