When Dollywood opens on Saturday, visitors will get to ride the park's newest roller coaster, the Firechaser.
It's the country's first dual-launch family coaster; that means it goes forwards and backwards.
The Firechaser hits 16 miles an hour just one second after takeoff. It reaches a top speed of about 35 miles an hour and features six airtime moments and a 12-story incline. When you finally think it's over, it shoots you backwards.
"Unlike a lot of your big rides or your really small rides the whole family can ride this from grandparents to little kids and it makes you happy. It's one of those that makes you giggle and have a good time," said Matthew Lambert, American coaster enthusiast.
Dollywood reopens to the public this Saturday at 10 a.m.
