SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. — The Sevierville Police Department said officers captured a bank robber while he was exiting the bank with a bag of money.
Officers responded to the Tennessee State Bank on the Forks of the River Parkway around 4:49 p.m., according to SPD.
When they arrived, SPD said 35-year-old Joshua Watson of Sevierville, was exiting the bank. He was captured and taken into custody.
Watson allegedly entered the bank and demanded money from a teller. No injuries were reported, according to SPD.
