KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knoxville's summer concert series is wrapping up on Saturday with a performance by an artist from East Tennessee who has built a career telling stories and singing songs about his experiences.

Jeff BearCat Bunch now lives in central Texas, but will return to East Tennessee on Aug. 10 for a free performance as the Second Saturday Concert Series wraps up for the year. The performance will be at The Cove at Concord Park and will start at 6 p.m.

"With grit in his voice and wisdom in his songs, this independent and nationally touring singer/songwriter/storyteller will take you through his life experiences in song," organizers said about the artist.

The event is free and through the concert series, Knoxville has hosted a variety of other artists throughout the season. Anyone who wants to watch Jeff BearCat Bunch's performance should bring a lawn chair and also prepare to dance.
