KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Fire Department is assisting Rural Metro Fire with an explosion at a house near the Choto area of Knox County. the Loudon County Fire Department has also responded to the scene.
The explosion happened in the 1700 block of Blue Water Way, according to KFD.
Rural Metro said no one was in the house when the explosion happened and no injuries have been reported so far. They're asking the public to be aware of multiple agencies and traffic in the area.
According to neighbors near the home, a loud boom was heard before they looked outside to see fire. Officials said some trucks are expected to be kept at the home overnight to monitor the status of the house fire.
