MARYVILLE, Tennessee — Update (8/26/19): More than a year has gone by since Cheyenne Tonisha Shropshire was last seen.
On Sept. 13, 2018, the Blount County Sheriff's Office issued a missing person flier for Cheyenne Tonisha Shropshire. She was reported missing by her family on Sept. 8. and was last seen Aug. 24, 2018, near a business on Alcoa Highway.
Blount County Sheriff James Lee Berrong increased the reward on Friday to $2,000 for information that leads to her whereabouts, according to a Facebook post from the sheriff's office.
Shropshire would now be 23 years old. She is a white woman who weighs about 141 pounds and is about 5 feet 2 inches tall. Her eyes and hair are both brown.

Original (1/3/19): The Blount County Sheriff's Office has asked for the public’s help in locating a 22-year-old Alcoa woman who they said was last seen Aug. 24.
On Sept. 13, the sheriff's office issued a missing person flier for Cheyenne Tonisha Shropshire. She was reported missing by her family on Sept. 8.
Her last known address is a hotel on Alcoa Highway, according to BCSO.
A family member told deputies the last contact the family had with her was around Aug. 21, and she was last seen Aug. 24 near a business on Alcoa Highway.
