Rep. Tim Burchett takes office as new Congress convenes

The former Knox Co. mayor, a Republican, is one of 100 new members in a Democratic-led House.

On Thursday, former Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett will become Congressman Burchett when he's sworn in as part of the One Hundred Sixteenth United States Congress.

Burchett will be among 100 newly elected representatives filling the House.
