KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knox County leaders were set to unveil renovations to Concord Park's golf course Tuesday afternoon after a release said crews improved the course.
The reopening ceremony was set to start at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, showing off the improvements to the Concord Park Par 3 Golf Course. A release from the Knox County Parks and Recreation Department and the Knox County Mayor's Office said the renovations included a total overall of the course's putting greens.
It also said a duo of University of Tennessee professors recommended installing new turf at the golf course. The release said golfers who played on the improved course had a "smoother and more quality playing experience."
The golf course is located at 10909 South Northshore Drive in Knoxville.
