Remote Area Medical opened up in Puerto Rico Sunday to begin providing medical services to those in need in that area.
They will be offering services such as free dental services, eye exams, women's health exams and general health exams.
RAM founder Stan Brock says there is more help needed on the island.
"It's an ongoing thing," Brock said. "We really need as many volunteers that want to come forwards-- Dentists, optometrists, medical doctors, and, of course, veteranarians."
RAM also plans to distribute more than 50,000 pounds of additional disaster relief supplies to the area. They have been collecting donations since September.
Five mobile medical clinics will open in different locations on Puerto Rico throughout the month of December.
If you're looking to help and volunteer at Remote Area Medical, you can go to the center's website to sign-up.
Disaster relief in the area is ongoing as the community continues to struggle to get back to where it once was.
