KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville-Knox County Planning Commission approved plans Thursday for a new residential drug and alcohol treatment facility on Clinton Highway.
The 48-bed facility, owned by Bradford Evolve Treatment Services, will be next to Master Services Concrete Repair. It'll provide 24/7 medical, non-medical and therapeutic care for those seeking addiction rehabilitation.
The facility will include a two-story multi-family structure and a separate single-story building for meetings and activities.
The commission's approval comes with four conditions:
- Compliance with all applicable requirements of the Knoxville Zoning Ordinance.
- Meeting all standards set by the Knoxville Engineering Department.
- Adherence to all requirements of the Knoxville Plans Review and Inspections Department.
- Fulfillment of all applicable requirements from the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
The timeline for the facility's construction is unknown.
