KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Fire Department said crews responded to a fire at the Regency Inn on Magnolia Avenue Wednesday evening. No injuries were reported.
According to a post on social media, the fire was extinguished by 10:40 p.m. and crews were overhauling the areas affected by it. According to a release, the fire was contained in one room. According to images shared by KFD, the fire charred at least one of the inn's rooms.
The release said up to 17 people were displaced by the fire and the Red Cross was working with them to find get them help.
