Knox County will elect a new mayor this year and you can learn more about them by watching the mayoral debate.
It was held at JTV, located at 9600 Parkside Drive. The debate was presented by the Knoxville Chamber and the Knoxville Area Association of Realtors, and was be broadcast live from 7 – 8 p.m. on WBIR.
There are five candidates running to replace current mayor, Tim Burchett, who is term-limited.
The Republican candidates are: Bob Thomas, Glenn Jacobs, and Brad Anders. You can learn more about them here.

The Republican and Democratic primary will be held on May 1. One winner from each party will advance to the general election, set for August 2.
