Presidential candidates Jeb Bush, Ben Carson in town this weekend

Two more presidential candidates will visit Tennessee this weekend.

(WBIR – KNOXVILLE) Two more presidential candidates will visit Tennessee this weekend.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson will visit Knoxville over the weekend. Both are presidential candidates seeking the Republican nomination for the Nov. 8, 2016, election.

Bush is holding an event entitled an "Evening Reception with Jeb Bush" on Friday in Knoxville.

To attend the event, tickets are $1,000, and $2,700 for a photo reception.

Bush's campaign website said the address of the event in Knoxville is provided upon RSVP.

He will also visit the UT campus before the Tennessee/Georgia game.

Carson's new book, A More Perfect Union, hits bookstores Tuesday.

Carson will visit the Books-A-Million store located at 8513 Kingston Pike in Knoxville on Sunday.

According to the website for the book, Carson is expected to arrive around 7 p.m.

Bush and Carson's visit to Tennessee comes days after fellow GOP candidate Donald Trump visited Franklin on Oct. 3.

Trump also visited Nashville on Aug. 29.

The next Republican presidential debate is scheduled for Oct. 28, and will air on CNBC.
