PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. — A family in Pigeon Forge is getting much-needed love and help from the community after they lost everything, including their home, in a house fire last month.

The Stanton family has owned J. Del's Pizza in Pigeon Forge for nearly 15 years and has been called a staple of the community. On March 9, the Stantons said their house caught fire, destroying their home and taking the life of their dog, Sadie.

"She was our best friend, she was and will always be a part of our family. We love and miss you very much, Sadie. I can’t believe you’re gone," they said in a Facebook post.

When Hazi Thomas, a Knoxville musician and friend of the Stantons, heard the family was going through a difficult time -- he jumped at the chance to help.

He worked alongside The Listening Room Cafe, a music venue across from J. Del's Pizza on Teaster Lane, to organize a charity concert for the family.

"I just hit them up. I was like, hey, so this is what happened and I would love to do a show," he said. "He was like, dude, I love it. Let's do whatever we can to help them as quickly as possible so they don't have to sit in ruins for a while."

The charity event will be at The Listening Room Thursday starting at 4 p.m. The concert will start at 6 p.m. and run until 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale at this link. All proceeds from the show will go to the Stanton family.

They are helping us out! You all should check him out! Great music too
