Pat Summitt Foundation enlists Chris Blue to perform at annual Salute for a Cure

The Pat Summitt Foundation's Salute for a Cure will feature The Voice winner Chris Blue to help raise money for Alzheimer's research and support.

The Pat Summitt Foundation has enlisted one of East Tennessee's biggest up-and-comers to sing at its annual Salute for a Cure fundraiser.

NBC's "The Voice" winner Chris Blue will be performing at this year's event on April 26 to help raise money for Alzheimer's research and support at the Pat Summitt Clinic at UT Medical Center.

Each year, the Pat Summitt Foundation hosts the dinner event which brings in local business and community leaders to help support their cause. The name is a tribute to the "Salute to Excellence" that benefited Lady Vols athletics starting in 1988.
