(WBIR, Knoxville) - Thursday morning kicked off the 13th annual Star 102.1 Radiothon benefitting East Tennessee Children's Hospital.

Marc and Kim from the morning show are broadcasting live from West Town Mall for 12 hours Thursday and Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. both days. They are asking for donations to benefit home care services at Children's Hospital.

It's a long two days for the duo, but they say every minute is worth it.

"We look forward to this year in and year out. We wonder when is the next Radiothon because of the love, the support that people show for East Tennessee Children's Hospital. We've got the new "Fletch Bear" that started last year. It's a new club that people can join by calling 656-KIDS. It's sustained giving that you've decided to give year in and year out and those people have been great so far," said Marc from the Marc and Kim Show on Star 102.1.

You can call 865-656-KIDS to donate. You can also head down to West Town Mall where a silent auction is also going on.
