OAK RIDGE, Tenn. — The Oak Ridge community has a new cafe. While some cafes offer special blends or tailored atmospheres, Cleo's Cat Cafe is offering visitors a chance to spend time with four-legged friends.
It's a cat cafe, which means visitors can enjoy their coffee while petting or sitting down with a variety of different cats inside the shop. Autumn Ramsey, the cafe's assistant manager, said all cats there are up for adoption.
"The cats are mostly rescued cats. They are $150, and they are spayed and neutered, and they are up to date on their shots," Ramsey said.
Cleo's Cat Cafe also works with Ideal Vet and Halo's Home, a wildlife transport center in Scott County. It is also planning to partner with the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter. The cafe is located at 134 Bus Terminal Road in Oak Ridge.
